Cleo L. Oldendorf

RUSHFORD, MINN. - Cleo L. Oldendorf, 82, of Rushford, died on Tuesday, January 13, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford. Cleo was born on May 7, 1926. She was adopted by her parents, William and Ida (Feine) Oldendorf. Cleo was raised in Rushford and graduated from Rushford High School in 1944. She worked as a bookkeeper for her father at Oldendorf Implement. Cleo also worked for Rush Products and was a bookkeeper for Rushford IGA. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hart, Minn. Cleo loved her home and was an immaculate housekeeper. She enjoyed quilting with the ladies aide at church and going on her many trips around the world. Cleo is survived by one sister: Mary Luhmann of Rushford; three nephews: Dennis (Nancy) Luhmann, William (Diane) Luhmann, and Randall (Cyndi) Luhmann all of Rushford; and by many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother-in-law, Archie Luhmann, and one nephew, Thomas Luhmann. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hart, Minn. with the Rev. Harold Hintzman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, at Hoff Funeral Homes - Rushford Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
