HOFF FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICE, RUSHFORD, MINN. 507-864-7771 RUSHFORD, MINN. - Clara Ann Woll, 96, of Rushford, Minn. died on Thursday, December 16, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford. Clara was born on April 28, 1914, in Norton Township of Winona County, Minn. to Roman and Kathryn (Speltz) Walch. She was raised near Altura, Minn. and graduated from Holy Trinity Catholic School in Rollingstone, Minn. Clara attended secretarial school in Winona. She worked for Max Conrad Aviation in Winona and the Selective Service in Rochester. On August 2, 1947, she married George Woll at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Church in Winona. Following their marriage the couple moved to Rushford, Minn. where they owned and operated Woll's Dairy for 25 years. Clara then worked for SEMCAC in Rushford. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and its Altar Society in Rushford, VFW and Legion Auxiliary in Rushford, and the Rushford Federated Club. Clara and her husband, George were named Mr. and Mrs. Rushford in 1990. She is survived by two sons: James (Mary) Woll of Clinton, Iowa and Michael (Jaclyn) Woll of Eden Prairie, Minn.; four granddaughters: Kristin, Angela, Kathryn and Christine; and three great-granddaughters: Meghan, Kaitlyn and Allyson; and by a foreign exchange student who lived with Clara's family, Emilio Vargas of Costa Rica. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rushford with the Rev. Joseph Pete officiating. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona, Minn. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in Rushford and one hour prior to the Funeral Mass on Monday at the church. The family prefers memorials directed to the Good Shepherd Foundation, Epilepsy Foundation or St. Joseph's Church.
