Cheryl Greethurst

St. Charles, Cheryl Ann Greethurst, 51, of St. Charles died Thursday February 8, 2007 at Whitewater Healthcare Center in St. Charles. She was born February 27, 1955 in Omaha, Nebraska to George and Lorraine (Traxinger) Greethurst. She lived with her family in Sioux City, IA, Glasgow, MT, Portland, OR and Oscoda, MI before moving to St. Charles in 2003. Cheryl graduated from the School for the Blind in Lansing, MI in 1974. She was very bright and enjoyed reading, handheld games, doing fill-ins and word puzzles. Survivors include her parents, George and Lorraine Greethurst of St. Charles, two brothers, Michael (Karen) Greethurst and Gary (Jenny) Greethurst both of Enid OK, a sister Patti Greethurst of Marquette, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be at 2PM Monday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the Reverend James F. Callahan officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends may call one hour before services at the church. Hoff Funeral Home's, St. Charles Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
