He is survived by his six children, Heide (Bob) Schmidt of Hayward, Charles Nadelhoffer, Jr. of Sidney, MT, Heather (Michael) Hanna, of Lynn Haven, FL, Carrie Nadelhoffer of Hayward, Evonne Nadelhoffer of Hood River, OR, and Nicolas (Erin) Nadelhoffer of Greendale, WI; twelve grandchildren, Faith, Sidney, Ariana, Elisa, Isabella, Levi, Alexandria, Emmamae, Jack, Wil, Samuel, and Grace and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cy (who raised Chuck and loved him as his own) and Emma Brooks, two sisters and brother-in-law, Lynne Hergenhahn and Sharlene and Paul Roper.
