Charles Morris

St. Charles, Charles Morris, 93, a former St. Charles resident died Friday December 10, 2004, at Bethany Samaritan Heights in Rochester. He was born August 21, 1911 in Winona to W.A. and Emma (Harders) Morris. Charles and Helen Stevens were married July 8, 1937 in St. Charles where they made their home. He operated a plumbing and pump repair business in St. Charles. Helen died May 20, 1985. Charles lived in Samaritan Bethany on 8th before moving to Samaritan Bethany Heights in October. He had been a member of St. Charles United Church of Church of Christ, Evergreen Masonic Lodge of Clyde, MN and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Survivors include a son David (Joyce) Morris of Rochester, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, one brother and a sister. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Tuesday at Hoff Funeral Home's ? St. Charles Chapel with the Samaritan Bethany Chaplain Larry Tantow officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends may call one hour before services at the funeral home on Tuesday.
