PETERSONCharles "Chuck" Henry Musselman, 65, of Peterson, died after an 8-year battle with dementia on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Tweeten Lutheran Healthcare Center in Spring Grove surrounded by his family.Chuck was born in Glenwood, MN, on March 19, 1948, to Charles and Ann (Hanson) Musselman. When he was in seventh grade, his family moved to Lanesboro, and he graduated from Lanesboro High School in 1966. Following graduation, he attended the Art Institute in Minneapolis for one year. A few years later, he was introduced to Kristin Bell through mutual friends, and they were married shortly after. As newlyweds, Chuck and Kris moved frequently until building their permanent home in Peterson in 1977. Chuck had a passion for woodworking and music, having played the bass in several local bands. He worked for many years at Watlow in Winona, MN.He is survived by his wife, Kristin of Peterson; sons, Forrest (Melisa) of Mabel, Ezra (Jennifer) of La Crosse, and Gabriel of Dresbach; grandchildren, Jackson, Sophia, and Sawyer; siblings, Roy, Cher, Judy (Bob) Schumack, Gary (Mavis) and Kurt (Amanda); several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephews, Kyle and Royce Musselman.A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-8pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service in Rushford.
