Char H. Nesler

Char H. Nesler, 59, died Monday, June 2, 2008, at her home in Rollingstone, MN. Char was born December 4, 1948, in Winona, MN, to Charles and Honora (Weis) Nesler. Char worked as a secretary for Warner Swassey, Merchants Bank and High Plains Coop. Char was blessed with an artistic touch. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes for any celebration, painting decoy ducks for Wild Wings Gallery's, making ceramics, all aspects of sewing, making greeting cards and many people have received a pair of slippers or a money tree that she has made. Char loved most of all visiting with family and friends. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone and its St. Teresa and St. Nicholas society as well as Catholic Aid.Survivors include her sister, Mary Jane Reed of Rollingstone, MN; two brothers, Karl (Cindy) Nesler of Nodine, MN and Chuck (Jo) Nesler of Winona, MN; niece, Denise Bailey; nephews, Shawn (Karen) Nesler, John (Lacy) Nesler, Mark (Jessica Buldak) Nesler and Jason (Jill) Reed; and four great nieces, Carmen, Shelby, Alyssa and Miranda. She was preceded in death by her parents.A Memorial Mass will be offered on Friday, June 6, 2008, at 10:30am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone with the Reverend Donald Lovas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 5-8:00pm where there will be a Christian Prayer Service at 7:30pm.
