Cecelia Grandl

Winona, MNCecelia A. Grandl, 96, died Sunday, March 2, 2003 at the Lake Winona Manor where she had been a resident for the past 10 years. Cecelia was born on October 4, 1906 in Wilson, MN to Joseph and Anna (Sobec) Grandl. Cecelia was a life long resident of Winona where she had worked for the Glove Factory, Baileys Department Store and Choats Department Store. Cecelia was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wilson and the Catholic Daughters. Cecelia was a devoted member of her church and enjoyed sewing.Cecelia is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.A Funeral Mass is planned for Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. John Sauer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday at Hoff Funeral Homes ? Burke Winona Chapel from 5-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church. A Christian Prayer Service will be held at 5:00pm at the funeral home on Wednesday.
