Caroline Rinn

Caroline Rinn, 87, of St. Charles died Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospitals – Rochester Methodist Campus. Caroline was born November 4, 1936 in Trimont, MN to Elmer and Leona Marie (Davis) Senne.  She graduated from Stewartville High School and later moved to Lewiston where she met Lawrence Rinn while working at Rush Products.  Caroline and Lawrence were married August 19, 1967.  They later moved to Stewartville and eventually to Rochester.  Lawrence died in 2007.  

Caroline enjoyed crossword puzzles and Jigsaw Puzzles as well as playing cards, and drives in the country. 

Survivors include her daughter, Diane (Michael) Splittstoesser of Rochester and a granddaughter, Megan Splittstoesser.  In addition to her husband Lawerence, Caroline was preceded in death by six siblings, Frances, Chester, Earl, Merle, Howard and Gordon. 

A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024 at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Lewiston. Everyone is invited to join the family for lunch at the Rec Bar & Cafe immediately following.  Hoff Funeral Service of St. Charles is assisting the family with arrangements.
