Rupprecht, 86, of Lewiston, Minn. died on Sunday, May 04, 2014, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis. Carol was born on March 23, 1928, in rural Altura, Minn. to Paul and Eleanor (Aupperle) Neumann. She was raised in the Altura area where she attended elementary school. Carol Graduated from Lewiston High School in 1946. She was united in marriage with Harold Rupprecht on May 23, 1948, in Altura. Harold died in 1983. Carol then married Edgar Rupprecht on September 7, 1991, in Altura. Edgar died in 2007. Besides working as a supportive farm wife, Carol also worked at the Altura Turkey Plant and Camera Art in Lewiston. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lewiston and was previously a member at Jehovah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Altura, where she was a member of the ladies guild. Carol enjoyed dancing, socializing, and playing cards with friends. She is survived by two children: James (Sheryl) Rupprecht of Holmen, Wis. and Julie (Brian) Balk of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; two step-children: Nancy (Roger) Czeczok and Richard (Gerry) Rupprecht; five grandchildren: Kyle (Mandy), Liesl (Nate), Nikki, Micah, and Rachel; and by nine great-grandchildren.Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and a sister, Eunice Mae.Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lewiston. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, also at the church, with the Rev. Michael A. Lindemann officiating.
