C. Charlotte Lohmann

C. Charlotte Lohmann, 85, of Mesa, AZ, died Monday, May 19, 2008 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester, MN. Charlotte was born on January 11, 1923 in Lanesboro, MN to Henry and Julia (Ramsey) Ask. She was baptized in 1923 and confirmed in 1938 at Elstad Lutheran Church in rural Lanesboro. On September 4, 1946, she married Albert J. Lohmann at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN. After marriage, they moved to Cannon Falls and then to Hoyt Lakes where she was a secretary for the Erie Mining Company. After retirement, Al and Charlotte moved to Mesa, AZ and resided there for 20 years. Al passed away August 14, 1998. She was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Mesa. She enjoyed golfing, reading, and entertaining. She will be dearly missed. Survivors include her sister, Harriet (Harlan) Mensink of Ostrander, MN; two sisters-in-law, Lucile Ask of Lanesboro, MN and Marge Lohmann of Red Wing, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Al, brother Myran, and her parents. The Celebration of Life for Charlotte will be held at 6:00pm Friday, May 23, 2008 at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - Hansen Goodview Chapel with Funeral Celebrant John Wagenaar officiating. Friends may call from 5-6pm on Friday at Hoff Funeral Home. Interment will be held at a later date at Zumbrota Cemetery. Any undesignated memorials will go to Seasons Hospice in Rochester, MN.
