St. Charles Bunny Nessler, 89, of St. Charles died Thursday, August 18th at home.She was born May 18, 1922 in Simpson to William and Mary (Adamson) Griffin where she was also raised. She and Bob Nessler were married May 14, 1946 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Simpson. They made their home in St. Charles. Bunny worked at Mayo Clinic as a blood technician and was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, going fishing with Bob, following her Minnesota Twins and Vikings, as well as her son Brad's career as a sports announcer. Most important in Bunny's life was spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.She is survived by her three children; Carol (John) Turner of Tulsa, OK, Bill (Jan) Nessler of St. Charles and Brad (Nancy) Nessler of Duluth, GA, her eight grandchildren; Ginny (Wade) Brown, Shawn (Sheila) Turner, Heather (Larry) Cagle, Luke Turner, Tori (Joel) Thoreson, Tauni Nessler, Bo (Heather) Nessler and Reis Nessler, her 10 great-grandchildren; Logan, Holden, Aisling, Taige, Ty, Jersey, Jett, Zaylee, Dempsey and Finnley, three brothers; Walter (Agnes) Griffin of Simpson, Delmar (Joe) Griffin of Richfield and Jim (Patti) Griffin of Rochester, three sisters; Marilyn (Lowell) Day of Rochester, Carol Breckle of Rochester and Sharon Wilson of St. Louis Park. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 1990, a brother Lawrence, sister-in-law Ruth Griffin and her parents.A Funeral Mass for Bunny will be 11AM Monday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the Reverend Kurt Farrell officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends may call from 5-8PM Sunday at Hoff Funeral Service in St. Charles. They may also call one hour before services at the church on Monday.
