Britney Dawn Stiehl

Britney Dawn Stiehl, 17, of Stockton died Monday February 4, 2008 in an automobile accident two miles west of Stockton. Britney was born April 18, 1990 in LaCrosse to Larry Stiehl and Tammie (Kostner) Becher. She attended School through sixth grade within the Winona Catholic Schools. Britney currently was a senior at St. Charles High School, and would have graduated this spring. In school she enjoyed the golf team, playing flute in the high school band and had played volleyball and basketball. She loved to play Frisbee golf and Guitar Hero with her friends. Britney cared for others and enjoyed working at St. Charles Assisted Living. She recently began a job at Westfield Golf Course in Winona. She was our 'Little Sunshine'. Britney is survived by her parents, Larry (Michelle) Stiehl of Stockton and Tammie (Jerry) Becher of St. Charles, two brothers, Jesse Stiehl of Stockton and Jeremy Becher of St. Charles, paternal grandmother, Mary Stiehl of Winona and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lloyd "Bud" and Dawn Kostner and paternal grandfather Herbert Stiehl. A Funeral Mass will be 11AM Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the Rev. James Callahan officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona. Friends may call at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church from 3-7 PM Thursday and one hour before services Friday. Hoff Funeral Home of St. Charles is assisting the family with arrangements.
