Bonnie Lou Pomeroy, 79 of Minnesota City died Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Saint Anne Extended Healthcare.
Bonnie was born September 20, 1937 in Utica to Ernest and Helen (Huebner) Burt. On November 28, 1953, she married Clarence Pomeroy. Bonnie worked at Wrico Stamping for 20+ years.
She enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing, gardening and especially loved flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence; three children, David (Sue) of Adell, WI, Danny (Kathryn Dontje) of Minnesota City, and Ann Pomeroy of Hubertus, WI; daughter-in-law, Janet Pomeroy of Phoenix, AZ; eleven grandchildren, Don Pomeroy Jr., Tony Bohn, Amanda Walters, Dale (Jenny) Hedrick, Jr., Dana (Jared) Merkel, Joshua Pomeroy, Tracy (Billy) Marshalek, Shannon (Jason Reinhart) Pomeroy, Michael Pomeroy, Jo'el Pomeroy and Christopher Pomeroy; 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Fern Girtler, Lorraine Flannery and Maxine Henderson; sister-in-law, Connie Burt and many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie is preceded in death by one son, Donald Pomeroy Sr.; four brothers, Orville, LeRoy, Glen and Bruce; and one sister, Marian Burt.
Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center - Goodview with visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Bonnie will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Utica.
