Beverly (Bevy) Jean Norvet, age 94, of St. Charles MN, passed away peacefully on August 31st at Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield, where she resided for the last 16 months.

Beverly Jean Connaughty was born November 10, 1928 to Robert and Viva (Calhoun) Connaughty of Utica, MN.  She graduated from St. Charles High School in 1947.  She went on to attend the Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester MN to become a RN and graduated in 1950.

On October 14, 1950 she married Dean Norvet.  They made their home in St. Charles where they raised their 4 children, living there for over 70 years.

Beverly worked at Whitewater Healthcare Nursing Home in St. Charles for 32 years in numerous nursing positions, retiring in 1997.

She enjoyed summers at the family cabin in Balsam Lake, WI where she loved to gather with family and friends.  She was a wonderful cook and made delicious meals.  Her favorite holidays were the 4th of July, always hosting a picnic and Christmas where she enjoyed gift giving.   She loved playing cards with her lady friends. One of her favorite things she enjoyed was going out to eat.  She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and The Moose Club both of St Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Dean in 2018, three sons-in-law Pat, Mike and Dan and a sister-in-law, Mary Connaughty.

Bev is survived by her children: Steve (Carol), Lynn Kingsley, Debbie (Mike) Stevens, Brian (Rose), 5 grandchildren: Jenny (Dan) Erickson, Cayla (Ben) Bowen, Eric (Brooke) Norvet, Lexi (Ian) Mercer and Kara Norvet, 8 great grandchildren: Grace, Tyler and Karina Erickson, Anthony, Brynna and Kenzie Bowen, Bexley and Bristol Norvet, brothers Curt and Gary (T.J.)
