WINONABeverly passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at her home in Winona, MN at the age of 73.Beverly Lee Scharmach (Bowron) was born on November 8, 1941 in Bad Axe, MI to the late Floyd A. and Norma E (Schram) Bowron of Roseville, MI.Beverly married Henry (Shank) Scharmach Jr on August 19, 1961 in Roseville, MI and moved to Winona, MN where they spent the rest of their 53 years of marriage.She is survived by her husband, Henry, sons Glen Allen Scharmach of Winona, Shane David Scharmach (Anne) of Winona and Travis James Scharmach (Tina) of Fountain City, WI. Grandchildren Christopher, Samantha, Savannah, Shane Jr., Hunter, Makenna, Lily, Lucy and great- grandchild Bentley. Brothers Allen (Jacqueline) of Florida, Gary (Norma) of Michigan, David (Sylvia) of California, Paul of Michigan, James (Mary) of Michigan and sisters Sandra (Jerry) Uritescu of South Carolina, Peggy Pazek of Michigan and Dawn Gottschling of Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Norma Bowron and Henry's parents, Henry Sr. and Constance Scharmach. Beverly worked outside the home for many years as an office administrator at Brom Foundry and many more years with the family plumbing company as the VP of Operations. Anyone who knew Bev loved her quick humor, big smile and kind heart. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and she spent many summers with them taking great care and creating bonds that will live on through their adult lives. She discovered her love of travel later on in life and traveled to Europe, Mexico and spent weeks in the warm weather of Texas each winter. She was adventurous and parasailed at the age of 70! Her greatest memories were of boating and camping on the Mississippi with her husband and sons. Beverly loved to play cards and was involved in two card clubs for over 30 years, playing with many of her lifelong friends. She will be greatly missed.Visitation services will be on Tuesday, August 18th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview.
