Betty L. Boyum

RUSHFORD, MINN. ? Betty L. Boyum, 59, of Rushford, died Sunday, September 11, 2005, at Winona Community Memorial Hospital in Winona, Minn. Betty was born on May 29, 1946, in Wabasha, Minn. to Melvin and Violet (Severson) Gueltzow. She moved with her family from Alma, Wis. to Winona, Minn. at age 10 where she graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1965. On June 25, 1966, she married Robert Boyum in Winona. Betty moved to Peterson, and later to Rushford in 1979. She worked in retail for several years and as a home health aid for Winona County. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and time with family. Betty is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Lisa (Eddie) SalDana of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Wayne (Esther) Gueltzow of Crawfordville, Fla.; and one sister, Marjorie (Anthony) Ziettel of Winona. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, at Rushford Lutheran Church in Rushford, Minn. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Hoff Funeral Homes ? Rushford Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
