Bernice B. Edwards

St. Charles, Bernice B. Edwards, 85, of St. Charles died Thursday December 8, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Bernice was born September 8, 1920 in Utica to Frank and Martha (Beyer) Nuszloch. She and Frank Edwards were married February 18, 1939 in Utica. The couple farmed south of Utica until moving in to St. Charles in 1959. Bernice worked as a cook at Travelers Café and the Cozy Café. She also worked at the Red Owl Store and Wiskows Produce. Frank died July 12, 2003. Bernice was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles. Survivors include two sons, Larry (Maureen) Edwards of Faribault and Roger (Lee) Edwards of Lake City, two daughters, Joanne (Larry) Small of St. Charles and Karen (Jack) Henry of Dover, 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and a sister Loretta (Bernard) Matzke of St. Charles. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a brother Francis Nuszloch. Funeral Services will be 11AM Monday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles with the Rev. Michael Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-7 PM Sunday at Hoff Funeral Home's- St. Charles Chapel.
