Barbara Fossen

Winona, MNBarbara Fossen, 90, died Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN. Barbara was born July 13, 1915 in Money Creek, MN to Alfred and Beulah Carlson. She married Gordon Fossen on August 1, 1936 in Money Creek, MN. Barbara was a Nurses Aid for many years at the C&R Unit of Community Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Central Lutheran Church in Winona, MN.Survivors include her three sons, Gary (Kathleen) of Tampa, FL, Leigh (Barbara) of LaCrescent, MN and Bradley (Lori) of Sioux Falls, SD; five grandchildren, Wendy Yepes, Jay Fossen, Eric Fossen, Matthew Fossen, Sarah Johnson and Jonathan Fossen; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ronald (Margaret) Carlson of Houston, MN, Lyle (Sonja) Carlson of Onalaska, WI and John (Mary) Carlson of Stoddard, WI; three sisters, Esther Ford of Rochester, MN, Bonnie (Charles) Johnson of Whitehall, WI and Blanche Smith of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, JoAnn Carlson of Whitehall, WI; and dear friend, Roy Hefte of Winona, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gordon, brother, Curtis and two sisters, Betty and Lucille. Funeral services a planned for Monday, November 14, 2005 at 11:00am at Central Lutheran Church with the Reverend Scott E. Olson officiating. Burial will be in Money Creek Cemetery in Money Creek, MN. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Tribute Center in Goodview on Sunday from 6-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
