August H. Fahrendholz

Minnesota City, MNAugust H. Fahrendholz, 90, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at his home in Minnesota City, MN. Augie was born March 30, 1915 in Wilson Township, MN to Bernard and Margaret Fahrendholz. He married Jane A. Goss on March 19, 1943 and had been married for 62 years. Augie served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Augie farmed on the family farm in Witoka until retiring and moving to Minnesota City. He was a member of the Pickwick Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Jane; son, John (Barbara) Fahrendholz of Witoka, MN; daughter, Audrey (Robert) Hines of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Brian, Heather, Tessa, Tyler, Trevor and Tanner; and great - grandson, Braydon. He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and three brothers.A memorial service is planned for Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 1:30pm at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service - Hansen Tribute Center with the Rev. Mark Zachary officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
