Audre V. Noeske

Audre "Aud" V. Noeske, 80, died Friday, October 3, 2008, at Sauer Memorial Home in Winona, MN. Audre was born January 8, 1928, in Winona, MN, to Michael and Helen (Stolpa) Styba. She married Malven A. Noeske on July 27, 1946, in Winona, MN. He later died in 1979. Audre was a victim of polio and had learned to walk three separate times in her life. Even with her physical challenges Audre never considered herself handicap. Audre worked 17 years in house keeping in the C&R Unit of Community Memorial Hospital. Audre is lovingly remembered for baking her home made bread and being an avid collector of angels. Survivors include her four children; Arthur (Darlene) Noeske of Winona, MN, Jackie (Terry) Henke of Rollingstone, MN, Doug Noeske of Minneapolis, MN, and Toby (Lynn) Noeske of Rollingstone, MN; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lambert (Esther) Styba and Richard Styba both of Winona; and three sisters, Mildred Malotke, Rita (David) Lueck and Teresa Varner all of Winona. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Malven and daughter-in-law, Diane Noeske.Audre's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Winona Health and the entire staff at Sauer Memorial Home for the wonderful care they provide to Aud for the past several years.
