Arnold P. Jacob

Arnold P. Jacob, 92, died Tuesday, September 09, 2008, at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN. Arnold was born August 22, 1916, on the farm in Nodine, MN, to Fred and Minnie (Tuschling) Jacob. On August 11, 1951, he married Beatrice Winsky in Nodine, MN. Arnold farmed until 1976 and then moved to Winona due to ill health in 1980. Arnold is a member of Goodview Trinity Lutheran Church. Arnold is remembered for his love for fishing, reading and playing cards.His survived by his four daughters, Arlene (Adrian) Roraff Jr. of Winona, MN, Dorothy Woods of West Concord, MN, Joyce (Robert) Baumgartner of LaCrescent, MN and Kristi Jacob of Winona, MN; six grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Beatrice, two brothers and five sisters. Funeral services are planned for Thursday, September 11, 2008, at 11:00am at Goodview Trinity Lutheran Church in Goodview, MN, with the Reverend Tony Hansen officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Nodine, MN. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Goodview Chapel on Wednesday from 5-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
