Arnold M. Kreidermacher

Arnold M. Kreidermacher, age 90 of Dover, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Whitewater Health Services in St. Charles. "Arnie" was born on April 9th, 1933 on the family farm in Dover, the son of Andrew and Margaret (Kammerer) Kreidermacher. He was raised on the farm with his six siblings and he attended Eyota High School. His work on the farm was only interrupted when he enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean War; he joined his brothers Bernard and Casper in the service. Arnie worked for both Lakeside and Crenlo upon his discharge from the Army but continued his dedication to the family farm, too.

Arnold met the love of his life, Mary Schmit, at a church social and they were united in marriage on June 2, 1958 in Eyota and their union was blessed with nine children. Together they shared over fifty years of dedication and faith before Mary's passing in November of 2013.

Arnold will always remain in the hearts of his nine children; Bernard (Sue) Kreidermacher of Kasson, David Kreidermacher of Dover, Carol (Craig) Smith of Pine Island, Jim Kreidermacher of Dover, Diane (Ken) Bremseth of Blooming Prairie, Mary (Monte) Kramer of Valley View, PA, Joann (Steve) Finley of Rochester, Nancy (Gary) Wolber of Los Angeles and Joe (Melanie) Kreidermacher of St. Charles, grandchildren; Maranda, Nichole, Michael, Rebecca, Jordan, Damian, Jessica, Karrie, Jason, Danielle, Aidan, Conner, John, Ashley, Matthew, Cody and Ryan; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Leonard (Florence Davidson) and Marie Roeder; as well as his nieces, nephews, other extended family, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mary Kreidermacher; parents, Andrew and Margaret; brothers, Bernard, Casper (Meryl), and Fr. Andrew Kreidermacher; and infant sister, Margaret.

Mass of Christian Burial for Arnold will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Eyota. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, May 26th at the Hoff Funeral Home of St. Charles, as well as one hour prior to the Mass on Saturday at church from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
