Ardyce Mae Langseth, 78 of Lewiston died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Cottagewood Senior Community in Rochester following a lengthy illness with Alzehimers.Ardyce was born May 9, 1935 in Winona to Carl and Augusta (Millard) Thiede. She graduated from Lewiston High School and on April 25, 1953 she married Marlyn Langseth in Lewiston and they were later divorced. She was a member of St. Paul's UCC and ELCA. She worked at the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service in Lewiston for 30 years until retiring in 1993. She lived in Lewiston the majority of her life until her Alzheimer's became too much for her to continue living on her own.Ardyce love to collect stuffed animals, was an avid reader and enjoyed painting. She will forever be remembered for her love of others, her giving nature, her sense of humor, her hugs and backrubs and her poppy seed cake and rosettes.She is survived by her four children, Bruce (Lindley Jensen) Langseth of Houston, Valori (Bill Tointon) Langseth of Rochester, Brian (Lisa) Langseth of Brooklyn Park and Vicki (Blake) Clark of Lewiston; 15 grandchildren, Nick Langseth, Alyssa Menz, Erik Jensen, Bennie (Sarah) Peterson, Sara (Nick) Goodman, Beau (Kelly) Peterson, Jessica (Josh) Garrison, Tyler Langseth, Nicole Langseth, Alex Langseth, Lance Clark, Corey Clark, Courtney Clark and Landon Clark; six great-grandchildren and one brother, Harlan (Addie) Thiede of Bismarck, ND.Ardyce was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Burton Thiede.Memorial Service will be 4 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - St. Charles with the Reverend Louise Stromberg officiating.
