Annie P Simenson

June 26, 1936 — April 26, 2014

Ann Paige Simenson, 77, of Chatfield, died Saturday April 26, 2014 at Mayo Clinic Hospital - St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester.

Annie was born June 26, 1936 in Decorah, Iowa to Norman and Jennie (Robinson) Indvick. She attended school in Decorah and graduated from Lanesboro High School in 1954.

She then worked for Prudential Insurance in Minneapolis and Travelers Insurance in Rochester.   On October 12, 1960 she married Gary Allan Simenson in Rochester.

Annie worked for many years as a ceramics teacher.  She had many interests : Walleye fishing, playing bridge, reading, and visiting casinos.

Annie loved people.   During the years of raising her family, the Simenson house was the center of activity.  From being involved as a Cub Scout leader to fixing meals for the extended family, her love of family and people showed through.

Annie is survived by her husband of 53 years Gary of Chatfield;  three daughters: Cindy Feeser of Chester, Minnesota, Lori (Steve) Winter of Wykoff, & Shari (Joe) Fischer of Rochester;  two sons: Jody of Chatfield, Jon (Maria) of Wykoff.  12 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren.  Brother David (Myrna) Indvick of Cotter, Arkansas also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
