Annette Constance Hoel

RUSHFORD, MINN. Annette Constance Hoel, 80 died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford. Annette was born December 6, 1924 to Harold and Gladys (Knutson) Dahle in Rushford. She graduated from Rushford High School in 1942. She married Clifford Hoel on December 4, 1943. He died February 20, 1970. As a life-long resident of Rushford, she worked as a cook at the Golf View Restaurant, and in 1965 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home until 1988. She also cooked at the Mill Street Inn, Rushford. She was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church and its Naomi Women's Circle. She was past president of the Rushford American Legion, Post 94, Women's Auxiliary, and the Rushford V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time at the barn, "Hoel In The Wall", during hunting season; she also tended to the flowers and cats at the barn. Annette loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Annette is survived by a daughter Diane (Bill) Luhmann, Rushford, MN, three sons; Dennis (Saundra) Hoel, Shoreview, MN, Allan (Victoria) Hoel, Randolph, MN, Stuart (Kathy) Hoel, Rushford, MN. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law Donna (Lewis) D'Errico, Barrington, RI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifford, and a sister Dorothy Manion. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at Rushford Lutheran Church. Visitation will be on Friday, May 13, from 5-8 p.m. at the Hoff Funeral Homes Rushford Chapel and one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Rushford Lutheran Cemetery.
