Annabelle Ruth Haugen, 85, of Rushford, MN died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Rushford. Ann was born on June 7, 1933 in Winona, MN to Harry and Stella (Hostettler) Rolbiecki. She grew up around the Winona area before meeting Robert Haugen. The two of them fell deeply in love and were married. After their marriage, Ann moved to Rushford with her new husband. They raised 3 children, William, Ronald and Ruth. Ann worked at TRW for many years before retiring. In her retirement she enjoyed golfing with her daughter and her ladies. Ann was a member at Ferndale in Rushford. She also enjoyed bowling on the "Nordic Strikers" for many years and continued up to only a few short weeks ago. She also loved watching sports on TV and going to as many of her grandchildren's activities as she could get to. She was known for being very competitive and the rule keeper no matter the game.
Annabelle is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Tom) Pederson; daughters-in-law, Annie Haugen, Lori Haugen; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles (Marie) Rolbiecki, Glen (Jan) Rolbiecki. She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Robert; Sons, William "Bill" and Ronald.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 4th, 2019 with visitation one hour prior at Rushford Lutheran Church. Private interment will be held at Rushford Lutheran Cemetery. Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service, Rushford is assisting the family.
