On October 17, 2022, beloved sister, aunt, grandmother, mother, and friend Anna Mary (Peck) Albrechtson passed away at Watkins Manor in Winona. She was sixty-one.
Anna was born to loving father Richard William Peck and mother AnnaMary (Jochim) Peck on May 4th, 1961.
Anna was raised in a family with five of her six siblings and was a wonderful older sister. She graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1979 and managed a roller rink in Winona in the 1970s and 1980s. She was known for her great sense of humor, phenomenal taste in music, and excellent fashion sense. She had a giving spirit, loved with all her heart, and was a fierce protector of the underdog. Her interests and creativity knew no boundaries or limits.
Anna's love and friendship will forever be missed by her sons, Joshua Albrechtson and Jacob Albrechtson, sister Nancy (Neumann) Flynn, brother Rick Peck, brother Mark Peck, brother Leo Peck and his wife Kay (Kiekhaefer), brother Andrew Peck and his wife Evelyn (LaCagnina), sister Cheryl (Peck) Torgeson, along with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunt, uncle, cousins, goddaughter, and countless dear friends who will always treasure the time they spent with her.
Anna is preceded in death by her father Richard Peck in 1980 and her mother AnnaMary (Jochim) Peck in 2016.
Anna's family extends a special thanks to Brian Todd, with whom she shared a real and true love. In her final days, Brian kept vigil by her side with incredible care and sincere compassion. Anna's family will be forever grateful for his kind soul and and selfless nature.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2-3 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center at 3480 Service Drive in Winona with a short service and time of sharing to follow at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Benedictine Adult Day Center in Winona.
