Ann Elizabeth Golden

Ann E. Golden, 74, of Winona died peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at her home in Winona. She was born September 7, 1949 to Lois (Berg) and Francis Lilla in Winona, Minnesota. Ann grew up in Winona and lived her whole life there. She graduated from Winona Senior High School and started business school at Winona State. She married David Golden on May 29, 1982 in Winona, MN. They had two wonderful daughters, Kelli and Nicole. Ann spent 30 plus years working for Winona State and retired in 2007. She then began her fulltime career as a grandma (her dream job). Ann devoted her life to helping take care of her grandkids. Ann and David were able to give their children the gift of being their daycare. The grandkids also loved this intimate time with them.

Ann is survived by her loving children, Kelli Golden, and Nicole Golden; grandchildren, Payton Halverson, Nicholas Colón, and Annabelle Colón.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, David; her parents; and sister, Carol Josephine Lilla.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 11am at Hoff Celebration of Life Center (3480 Service Dr. Goodview, MN) with visitation beginning at 10am.
