ORIGINALLY FROM MILFORD, MA AND CURRENTLY OF WINONA, MNAngelina DiCenzo, 97, originally from Milford, MA and recently of Winona, MN died peacefully at Lake Winona Manor on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 surrounded by five generations of her family.A lifelong catalyst of family, Angelina, the sixth of ten children, was born October 16, 1915 in Milford to Joseph and Asunta (Trotta) Gattozzi. On September 1, 1935 at 19 years old, Angie was united in marriage to Rinaldo DiCenzo at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Milford. As newlyweds, Angie and Rinaldo first lived in a one bedroom house he built for them. They worked side by side for many years. Among other things, they owned and operated a grocery store and liquor store. Angie considered everyone a "customer," even when hosting a meal at her table. In 1972, they moved from Massachusetts to Tucson. In 1999, with the help of their family, Angie and Rinaldo moved to Atlanta to be near their daughters. Finally, in 2011, they moved to Winona to be close to their son.There are not enough words to describe Angie. She was a devoted wife, supportive mother, loving grandmother, talented hostess, and amazing entertainer. Blood or not, she touched the lives of everyone who was fortunate enough to cross her path. A true Italian who loved cooking, Angie's soups, pastas, frittatas, and desserts will be missed by many of her friends and family.She is survived by her husband of over 78 years, Rinaldo, who lived with her at Lake Winona Manor; children, Marilyn (Bob) Wyzykowski of Spring Hill, FL, Louise (Dr. John) Babel of Fairview Park, OH, Rena (Hal) of Huntsville, AL, and Rinaldo, Jr. (Kelly) DiCenzo of Winona; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Gattozzi; and sister, Christine Saunders. Angie was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Medway, MA.
