Amelia Marie (Limas) Ohlendorf, 72, passed away at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN on June 28, 2023 after a battle of pancreatic cancer. She was born on June 28, 1951 in French Camp, California to Jesse and Carmel (Triglia) Limas.
Amelia was raised in Manteca, California with her 8 siblings. After graduating from Amos Alonzo Stagg High School in Stockton, California, she married John Robertson and together they had four children. John and Amelia were married for 31 years, and he later died on November 6, 1997. Amelia worked for the local Post Office in Tracy, California for over 20 years before retiring. After John's death, Amelia moved to Lakeville, Minnesota and then moved to Brown Deer, Wisconsin in 2016. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness in Greenfield, Wisconsin.
She loved doing karaoke and she even once played in a band. She was very passionate about shopping and keeping up with all the latest fashion trends. Some would even say she was a clothing collector. She always accessorized her outfits with jewelry, wigs, and anything with a little glitter. Amelia found her serenity by finding a bench on a lake and enjoying coffee and taking in nature's beauty. In her younger years she enjoyed fishing on those open waters.
Amelia is survived by her husband, Richard Ohlendorf; children, Jason, John, Nathan (Julie), and Renee Robertson; grandchildren, Destiny Hutchings, Alysia, Karger, Geneva, Corina, Shanna, Ryley, and Reed Robertson; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jesse, Francis, Rita, Tony, Joe, Mary, Vincent, and Linda.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, John Robertson.
