Allan M. Hatlevig, 69, of Rushford died Sunday, October 9, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn. He was born on June 12, 1936, on Vinegar Hill, near Rushford to Marvin and Mabel (Halvorson) Hatlevig. He was raised at Pine Creek, Northwest of Rushford and attended Peterson School. He farmed in the Rushford area as well as being a milk hauler for the Hart Creamery. He worked for Rush Products in Rushford for 19 years, retiring in January of 2002. He was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church. Allan married Carol Odegaarden on July 12, 1969, in Houston, Minn. Allan enjoyed hunting, collecting antiques and visiting and helping his close friends and relatives. He is survived by his wife Carol; two daughters: Sarah Hatlevig and Kari Hatlevig, both of Rushford; five grandchildren: Andrew, Ashley, Tiffany, Hunter and Allandra; three sisters: Luella Brown of Lanesboro, Minn., Beverly (Marlow) Boyum of Rushford and Kathy (Milton) Hallum of Lanesboro, Minn.; and one brother, Ronald (Jackie) Hatlevig of Peterson, Minn. Allan was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers-in-law: Orville Paulson, Robert Brown and Melvin Wright.
