Alice H. Miller

Alice H. Miller, 99, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford, MN. Alice was born August 26, 1909, in Winona, MN, to Robert and Mary (Schettler) Miller. Mary raised turkeys on the home farm for many years until moving into Lewiston in 1980. Alice enjoyed sewing and had made doll clothes for several years. Alice had been a resident of Good Shepherd since 2002.Survivors include he brother, John Miller of St. Charles, MN; sister, Lucille Blumentritt of Winona, MN; nieces, Betty (Loren) Hackbarth of Winona, MN, Lorraine (Dan) Schultz of Lewiston, MN, Marilyn (Larry) Matzke of Las Vegas, NV, MaryJo (Neil) Linderman of Albert Lea, MN, and Barb (Mark) Hill of Stewartville, MN; nephews, Lester (Nina) Simon of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jack (Pat) Miller of Lewiston, MN; and many grand - nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mabel and an infant brother.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 16th, at 2:00pm at Hoff Funeral Homes - Lewiston Chapel with Funeral Celebrant John Wagenaar officiating. Burial will be in the Lewiston Public Cemetery.
