Adeline Agrimson

February 10, 1936 — November 20, 2024

Houston

Adeline Jean Agrimson, age 88, of Peterson, MN, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

She was born February 10, 1936, the daughter of Adolph and Judith (Woxland) Bremmer in Rushford, MN.

Adeline grew up on her family’s farm near Arendahl, MN, where her future husband, Arne, lived just across the valley. Adeline graduated from Peterson High School and went on to attend one year at Winona School of Business. Arne and Adeline were united in marriage at North Prairie Lutheran Church, and together, they shared 67 years, four children, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many wonderful memories. Adeline was well-known as an excellent cook and baker, especially known for her meatballs and mashed potatoes and her Norwegian treats. She loved sharing meals with her family and friends and was always the last one to sit at the table to make sure everyone else was fed. Adeline and Arne were very proud of their faith, their family, their farm, and their Holsteins. When not farming, they loved to travel—whether it was across the county to a 4-H show, to many state and national Holstein conventions, out west skiing with friends, or to Norway to visit relatives. Later in life, she enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s events – never missing a sporting event, dance recital, or concert. She could often be found sharing stories, baking, reading, gardening, or polka dancing with Arne.

Adeline is survived by her husband, Arne; children: Sonja (Mark) Miedtke, Sherrie (Todd Searles) Agrimson, Susan (Rod) Martin, and Stephen (Lanita) Agrimson; grandchildren: Kile Stewart (Ruth Lin Nedza), Mariah Martin (Tory Chasteen), Taylor Martin, Anna Martin, Jordan (Brittany) Agrimson, Ashley Agrimson (Adam Lembke); and great-grandchildren: Theodore Sebastian Arneson Stewart and Rhett Robert Agrimson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother Lyle Bremmer.
