Adele L. Kasimor

Adele L. Kasimor, 77, died Friday, June 15, 2007, at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. She was born Feb. 20, 1930 to Mattfield and Ellen (Lineburg) Gamelson in Clitherall, MN. Adele was a graduate of Minneapolis Marshall High Scholl and the University of Minnesota. Upon graduation she was employed as a social worker for the Goodhue County Social Services in Red Wing. She married Carl Kasimor on Feb. 15, 1958, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Red Wing. The family moved to Winona in 1967 and she was employed as parish secretary at St. Paul's Episcopal Church for 23 years. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.Adele is survived by a daughter, Carol, of Menasha, WI, and a son, Jeffrey, of St. Paul. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Floyd Carlson of St. Louis Park, sisters-in-law Patricia Kasimor of St. Cloud, MN and Genevieve Tebbe of Roseville, MN, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, parents, Mattfield and Ellen Gamelson, brothers, Lyn Gamelson and Fred Gamelson and sister, Esther Carlson, sisters-in-law, Georgia Gamelson and Dorothy Gamelson.A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at 2:00pm at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Winona, MN. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Red Wing, MN. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Chapel on Monday from 5-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Pallbearers are Al Carlson, Jim Carlson, Erik Carlson, Doug Dalton, Lowell Bjoraker and Larry Will.
